I’ll be the first in my family to gain an university level, and that’s something I hold extremely close to my heart.
My family members and I transferred to the USA in 2014 We selected Memphis as our second home to start fresh and build a much better future.
When I graduated high school in 2020, I decided to join the Army Book so I might work full-time to help sustain my family financially. Along the road, my moms and dads always advised me of the relevance of a college degree. Honestly, I had problem with the choice in between choosing job over school.
That transformed when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can make my degree 100 % online from a recognized, nationally identified Carnegie R 1 college. The adaptability of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. As soon as I enlisted, I recognized I made the appropriate option.
As an online pupil, I remained included with campus life with career fairs and joining pupil organizations like the Society of Personnel Administration. I wanted to get one of the most out of my college experience and get in touch with individuals who shared my enthusiasm for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of loss term. Many thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Global, I had the ability to complete solid, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking four classes while offering on active duty, and I’m proud to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to serve my nation, sustain my household, and make my degree means the globe to me. I really feel prepared to tackle whatever comes next.
